weetu
I installed Gallery with fantastico and uploaded a couple of pictures. The thumbs are broken image icons. Click on them and the pictures open. Any ideas of what could be wrong? The gallery is located at http://harrop.us/gallery

Michael D.
never mind. I installed gallery on another host and it works flawlessly.Interesting, when I had this issue it had to do with URL Rewriting and Gallery - I have a gallery of my own and under one URL it works great but if you use a different URL it doesn't work right Not entirely sure why that is. Everything would load but the thumbnails. Try it yourself: http://www.mikedvb.com/gallery/v/flood/?g2...3ec8fd3dbfe4b79 vs http://mikedvb.com/gallery/v/flood/?g2_GAL...3ec8fd3dbfe4b79 (the second one works, first does not) it's the exact same account/gallery installation so I'm not sure
weetu
My issue was just the thumbnails . I got it to work by disabling everything under Graphics Toolkitsexcept ImageMagick. I've had a Gallery site hosted elsewhere for 6 years and never had this problem, but I never used Fantastico to install it before. That could be the problem.I'm going to download and install it myself later this weekend and try again.

It looks to be something specific to Gallery - perhaps something that doesn't get along with default configurations. I'm happy to work on figuring out why it happens and resolving it

I just don't know why I have to do anything in the first place.

I've never seen something so strange from a script but I have seen it behave this way on multiple hosts. http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:FAQ#Thu...._How_to_fix.3F
