Michael D.
What happens if a site uses up it's allocation of bandwidth in a month? What extra charges will be due?The email address on file in the cPanel account under "Contact Information" is emailed when you reach 90%, 95%, and 98% letting you know you are getting close. You can at that point contact us to get a block of bandwidth or to upgrade your account. If you do neither and hit the limit the account will be automatically suspended. I figure it will be ok for this month as there is only one more day to go, or should I upgrade this account now? The traffic has risen this month so will probably stay high for next month. Getting over 450,000 page loads a day at times!

If you think you're going to cut it close every month you might go ahead and upgrade but ultimately that's up to you. I don't think you'll use 4% in just over 1 day. Bluesplayer
I think I will leave it for now and then carry out a fair bit of optimization at the beginning of next month. I should be able to reduce the size of the pages and so on a fair bit I should think. Obviously if there is any further concern next month I will upgrade the account then. Michael D.
It's entirely up to you - if you do get suspended you will have the option to buy a block of BW or to upgrade the account. The block is a better option if it's a one-time sort of issue where as the upgrade is better if it's likely to be sustained usage.
Bluesplayer
Just looked at the shared hosting options. May as well upgrade my account as it is only a few dollars more a month for an extra nearly 500GB. I will probably go for the upgrade and be done with it. Michael D.
Yeah, it's not much cost for the added space/bandwidth. You should be able to upgrade via the billing system but feel free to open a ticket if you'd like us to do it for you.
