Posted October 22, 2009 Report Share Posted October 22, 2009 Tonight we experienced a total failure of our DNS Cluster setup which caused many of our customers to not be able to access their sites although all servers were online and operating as they should. There was an issue with a master configuration file on our DNS cluster that propagated out to all servers and caused the entire cluster to fail. We're putting measures in place to make sure that this never happens again as the idea of a DNS cluster is more reliability and redundancy. We do apologize deeply for any inconvenience that this may have caused and can assure you that it is not going to happen again.
