The networking team is actively working to resolve the problem. When we know more, such as why the outage happened, we'll make that information available. Posted June 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2014 The networking team informed me just now that the issue was with Level3 - they basically quit routing packets/data resulting in anybody whose traffic passes through their routes to fail. In short this didn't affect everybody but probably a large portion of our customers on these servers as Level3 is a fairly large transit provider. The facility simply disabled Level3 and all traffic is routing over alternate routes/providers at this time. I can't say why Level3 quit routing data - if I do get a reason for this I'll let you know but ultimately it's outside of our control as well as the facility's control.
