  1. Many thanks Mike. That was helpful.
  2. Sorry. I did not state that very well. Do you outsource the domain registration? I see. I just assumed that fewer accounts on a server would also allow for more storage space for each account. I know very little about it though, and was just curious as to the reasoning. I definitely don't need more than 15 GB of room, and would likely be fine with 5 or 10. Is there any problem with storing media and providing download links so long as I stay within the storage and bandwidth limits? All of the media fits within the terms of service and is of my own creation. To clarify, I currently have a public folder in the public_html directory that I use to keep images, videos, audio files, etc. I primarily use it to provide download links within my blogs and sites. For example, in this post of my blog (near the bottom of the page) is a list of audio files that I created for people to download. Another example is this section of one of my other sites in which a handful of tutorial videos are available for download. Other than those examples, I mostly use the folder to share files and images for various art related projects. I also use the folder as a way to post illustrations and images in forums that don't have an image upload option. If it helps, below are the stats that include my main sight and the public folder mentioned above. http://snodart.com/snodpublic/stats.png Thanks for the info and input.
  3. Hello, I am thinking of moving to MDD, but just had a few questions: Are the domains actually hosted with MDDhosting? Can I easily change (or have changed) A-name records - to point to a portfolio hosted with another service (such as viewbook) for example? How easy is it to upgrade later to semi-dedicate/VPS/dedicated servers? Are there any charges to upgrade? Is there a specific reason that the storage space is the same for shared and semi-dedicated servers (5, 10, and 15 GB)? I have 4 domains that I would like to transfer along with signing up for a host package. What is the best way to determine which of the domains I should use as the "main" domain? Any info is much appreciated. Many Thanks, Justin
