  1. Drupal 7's Update Manager will check for out-of-date modules, but it normally doesn't check disabled modules whether disabled modules are out of date. However, you can turn this on. Go to http://yoursite.com/admin/reports/updates/settings, Check the box Check for updates of disabled modules and click Save Configuration. After that when it checks during cron or when you check manually, both disabled and enabled modules will be checked for new versions.
  2. Certainly take up Scott's offer to help via the ticket system, if you have not already done so. I described you what worked for me at another host when I had to add a subdomain to point to a mailing list host we use. But depending on your setup, it may be trickier.
  3. I'm not sure I understand your question completely, but do you mean you want, say, example.com to map to 1.2.3.4 and sub.example.com to map to a completely different IP address, say, 5.6.7.8? You can add a separate DNS A record for sub.example.com using the "Simple DNS Zone Editor" in cPanel and have it map to another IP address that's unconnected to the server where example.com is hosted.
  4. Happy to say I am now a customer.
  5. I'm interested in an account with WHM, but don't need WHMCS. I'm hosting a few sites for family and friends and don't need any billing, but having WHM is convenient so I can keep the accounts separate with their own quotas, control panels, and users. I currently have a small account hosted elsewhere that is WHM-only, but am shopping. My impression from browsing these forums is that a couple of years ago you priced WHMCS as an add-on or allowed it to be removed a discount. Nowadays, "free WHMCS" is good marketing, but for low-end reseller accounts it seems to me it's actually significant part of the base cost. It pushes the price up higher than I'd prefer to pay. Would you consider a low-end WHM-only plan, either as custom or a low-end offer? Thanks for listening. If not immediately, just consider this as potential customer input.
