  1. Okay, now I'm starting to get frustrated. Our domain is "La*" and we're still down. I know Mike has gone to bed at this point - is anyone from MDD keeping an eye on this thread that wants to chime in with an update?
  2. I don't and I won't. You guys do what you have to do. Our employees have emails at to occupy themselves with at this point.
  3. I think you guys have done the best you possibly could with what you were given. I must have been on the affected IP as I am still down. I'm just hoping that my IP/DNS issues are fixed in the next thirty minutes before our business opens and employees arrive...if I have to explain even another second of downtime, I'm going to break :rage: EDIT: As I was typing that...phone rings..."hey my email works but the site is still down.."
  4. Why is it that response times to Gemini and Fresco are so vastly different? If they are both shared hosting environments and Pingdom is generating requests from the same location, how is it that Fresco takes a whole 200+ms longer? Sounds like Fresco has been a ticking time bomb judging by how many times it's mentioned just on the first page of the Server and Network Announcements forum and how long its been down in the last 24 hours (plus what you just said)
  5. For the future - I have my site making backups every 2 days and storing one on the server and sending on to the Google cloud. Of course, they are from the Backup and Migrate module in Drupal, so they only save the MySQL database and the Drupal settings. Is there a way to set up a cron to automate the backups from cPanel, as well?
  6. Mike, I'm going back and reading this forum for my own knowledge - it looks like this is the 3rd(?) time Fresco has been DDoS'd in the last month. Any change of plans for the future?
  7. Downside of shared hosting, homie. You're guilty by association of server resources. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone is hosted on your box that another person doesn't like and is the target of a DDoS, you're going down, too.
  8. I'm thankful for your backups, no doubt. Do you have any idea of the target of the DDoS?
  9. Ouch. I was hoping to come back from lunch and find that our site was up and running. Looks like an entire day is shot at this point.
  10. I heard nothing but good reviews about MDDHosting before signing up - I'm not angry about this downtime because let's face it, stuff happens. However, we're going on 7 hours of downtime here, which is getting a bit frustrating to say the least. Like others, I've got no email and because our site hosts a web application, we can't sell any inventory.
