  1. I have tried that. I am working with the domain ddhwebdesign.com. It is registered with you. I keep getting data invalid rejected. I know I must be doing something wrong but alas can not seem to figure out the problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dan Haddaway
  2. I figured I would ask this question here as I have been hogging up support time and this is not that important yet. I have been trying to set up my nameservers for my reseller account and just dont seem to be ableto get it to work. Any suggestions or help ideas or even a link to something that will explain it would be a great help. I am in no hurry as I am at work right now and really wont be able to do anything for a while let alone I haven't even opened for business yet. LOL. Thanks for any and all help. 3. Yeah I kinda geussed that. LOL Your servise is good the two times I actually needed it. I may not be that expierienced but I learn fast. Thanks for responding though. You do have a nice small company and I can understand why being small can be good. I'll keep trying to get them to talk on here though. I like being here I have a funny feeling that if I had gone with one of those other big hosting companies I would be having more problems. Glad I found this place.
  4. I'll look into it for sure. You need to be carefull with forum software and security. Too many people on the internet who will gladly hijack your forum to advertise.
  5. I tried both. Both are outstanding software. I truely like Dreamweaver better but, money is a problem. Expression web is on sale right now for 89 dollars. Dreamweaver at its cheapest with using my wife as a student still comes to 200 dollars. Expression web is Dreamweaver's almost equivalent. The only thing so far I could tell was better than Expression Web was Dreamweaver's ease of transfering your work to your website with the built in FTP. Well I would still like to hear of other's expierience with either one of these softwares. Chime in people its awfully quiet in here.
  6. To bad right now it costs money. I do like it and some time down the road I may look into it myself.
  7. Yes it is the Abbott again. Just shootin the who who on the off topic board. Its slow on this forum but hopefully we will see more on here some time. Well I live in Delaware and its beautiful here. Spring has come and hi temps are in the high 60's. Hope it stays for a little not really looking forward to the 90 degree weather I know is a comin. It sucks mowing the lawn in the heat. LOL Who else is on and where do you live? Come on people lets get some posting going here.
  8. Yes it's me again trying to get your opinions on something. Like I've said many times before I am new at all this. I have been using Kompozer but I am looking for something a little better and more known. I hear alot about Dreamweaver but almost nothing about expression web. I know expressioon is a followup of frontpage and I've read frontpage is good. I haven't had a chance to use either but what do you all think? Any of you use either of these programs? What do you think about either one? Which would be the better to actually invest money into? Sometime this week I will be downloading trials but the small amount of time they give you with these trials I know I won't be able to get much out of it. LOL Any opinions are always a help. Well off I go back to work.
  9. Yeah Joomla is a little big, but for a community site it is easy to use and the members can use it very easily. I am working on learning how make websites in other ways. Im hopeing soon to actually be able to start making web sites for others. We will see. Its a beast ive jumped into bed with but im loving it. I really wish I had kept up on HTML from years ago. It does come back to you though. Thanks for your replies.
  10. Well on the other side of that I am also using Kompozer. Ive been thinking about looking into frontpage but it looks like that may be going to the wayside for web expressions. I don't know im just a newbie. LOL HEck I still haven't even gotten into web security yet.
  11. Its no big secret. I use Joomla 1.5 on my current website. Im still learning but I have tried several other programs and truthfully Joomla has impressed me the most. I havent used any commercial software cause well I can not afford it but, I wouldnt mind hearing what you think. If you use software for your site or sites let me know.
  12. Like it says in the description. Its almost summer time. Here in good ol Delaware its starting to warm up. Its getting around that time to start hitting the beach. (no Delaware is not in PA) In these unsure economic times will you be going on vacation? Me, probably not. Heck im on here to try to make some extra money. Until I do vacation is moot. LOL Well just wanted to try to start a topic here on the place we all have something in common on. We all use MDDHosting or are looking into it. Post replies if you like. Come On People !!!
  13. It was years ago when I designed my first little web site. No real HTML editor or anything and it still ended up looking like a myspace page would today. I got out of web stuff it was just kind of a hobby. A few month's ago I was looking for a way to make some extra money. You know the economy is bad and everyone is hurting. People say work with what you love. I love computer's and the internet. How do I go about making money. Web design? Possibly. A web page? Possibly. Well I decided to get into building web page's again. I did not realise what I had gotten myself into but I do love it. When I have the time I work and learn every day. Still no extra money but I hope to see it coming soon. To get back to the point. I looked at every possible host out there. I read reviews and investigated everything I could find. So much of the same stuff. Great hosting terrible support. It was a hard decision. On day I joined webhosting talk. I was looking aorund and heard many great things about this new web hosting company. They were talking about Mike by name. I was impressed and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. I have had no problems with my service. The one time I needed support they were on top of it. This was probably one of my best decisions to join MDDHosting. I will be a customer for years to come even if my idea of some kind of money from the web does not come forth. If you are looking for a good hosting company this one is it. Thanks Mike for all the good work.
