#1 is too much of a hassle if your IP is dynamic

3 years later and you're still a happy customer that's how things should be. Kudos to MDD, it seems they never fail in making their clients satisfied.

Yeah. A notification (email most probably) to affected clients would be nice.

I won't have a lot on the website. I'd like to keep it pretty much as simple as possible.

 

I'll probably update it every now and then when I make a new podcast, but that's about it.

 

Why would you recommend me not using Wordpress if I'm not going to change it that much? (Keep in mind that I don't have a lot of experience making websites).

Using a CMS is unnecessary for mostly static websites. Having everything in plain html/css would make your site "lighter" so to speak.

But yeah since you are going to update frequently and you said you aren't that experienced, then WP is the way to go

I will answer myself.  The backups are available from the R1Soft console (you can access from cPanel).  For some reason it took a while for backups to be listed there, but they are displayed now. 

 

Must be because you just signed up for an account, and you checked for backups even before a backup was generated for your site?
