Test file to check speed?

I'm shopping for a new host, anticipating trouble from my current host (I won't name any names, but even a large reptile can sometimes be swallowed whole by a bigger predator). My needs are simple - all my stuff is static HTML - no blog, no forum, no CMS, no MySQL, no PHP, no eCommerce. But it's all very image-heavy, so there are only two things I really care about - uptime and speed.
Do you have a test file sitting somewhere that I can download, just to see what kind of speed I might expect from your data center? A nice big zip file would be great.
