bunnykins
I was doing a virus scan as my computer was going a bit slow and could not figure out why.Any way in the results it found 17 viruses the interesting part about were some were located is in back ups of my site. In farther looking they were all back ups of mkportal. Even the zip installer had the same virus. So this means that the mkportal I downloaded and installed to do comparison with had a virus, an email virus as well. This shocked me and I thought well I am glad I am only using mkportal to do compaisions not actually using it in a live setting like ocportal.I have since removed mkportal and am going to do another back up and a scan of the back up to see if I still have the virus. Hey bunny I'm curious did you find anything else in your back ups or your computer? Thats a little scary and it doesn't speak well for mkportal. avjy27
if u zip the viurs file it's not detected when you scan.......check the anti-virus software it's have some option to delete the compressed file.......or use vipre antivirus to delete any type of virus........ Softear
Checking once again is also a good thing to do to make sure that all has been detected.
