Michael D. Posted November 27, 2012 Report Share Posted November 27, 2012 Hello, Tonight Fresco experienced a very strange outage for which we don't yet have a definitive reason. We believe the issue was an internal kernel issue [i.e. a software issue with the operating system itself] but haven't yet nailed that down for sure and are still investigating. In the meantime the server has been rebooted and has been back online for a short while now. The system booted into a newer kernel automatically as well as a newer version of R1Soft/Idera. We do see some anomalies in the logs that tend to indicate that there was an issue with the kernel keeping system time as just before the crash the logs have several applications reporting the system time as an hour apart. We're going to keep a close eye on the server for a short bit and are going to investigate to confirm our suspicions for the outage.
