Michael D.
We have identified a configuration issue with the Cypress server that allows users to use nearly twice the CPU allocation that they are entitled on a regular shared plan. We have applied a quick fix that limits users back to a total of one full CPU core, however, it is split over two separate cores (i.e. 50% of each core) so you may notice your sites run a bit slower. The permanent fix requires a quick reboot, which we will do tonight at 1 AM EST after which all accounts will once again have full access to a full (single) CPU core. The reboot itself should take less than 10 minutes and then it may take 5 to 10 minutes for things to get back up to speed. Should anything happen that causes the maintenance to take longer than expected, such as a file system check, we will update this thread as well as post an update in our twitter feed. Let us know if you have any questions.
billhector
This has nothing to do with the server migration? Any news on that front?
Michael D.
No, it has nothing to do with the server update - if it did - it would be in the server update thread . There is news on that front, again, found in that thread .
