Michael D.
The Gemini server has started reporting it's load values incorrectly (in the billions) which is obviously incorrect. While the server continues to work normally for serving web pages, processing php, etc... This invalid load indication will cause statistics software not to update, the email server to queue all outbound messages, etc. This is a common issue on this version of the kernel. We run KSplice rebootless kernel updates which keeps older kernels secure but this bug has still cropped up. We are going to be performing a reboot at 1 AM EST (in approximately 2 hours) and expect the downtime to be no longer than 10 minutes so long as nothing unexpected happens (such as a required file system check). We will update this thread once the server is back online, or should there be any issues that increase the downtime beyond the expected window. root@gemini [~]# uptime 23:02:31 up 144 days, 22:31, 1 user, load average: 2146759465.09, 2146798992.24, 2139937337.12 If you have any questions, let us know.
