Trillian
Can you tell me the difference in terms of hardware between the semi-dedicated account and the reseller one? For example, does the reseller use a semi-dedicated server (the same one?) as the semi-dedicated people? If not what are the differences in terms of performance compared to semi-dedicated? Thank you. Michael D.
The hardware is the same, the difference is the number of accounts placed on a server and how much resources they are given access to. Semi-dedicated is generally recommended for business sites that need high reliability and uptime where as reseller plans are more tailored for those who want/need to offer accounts to others such as hosting providers or those who simply require multiple cPanel accounts for various sites/projects. Any cPanel account on a semi-dedicated server is going to outperform a cPanel account on a reseller server hands-down, but that isn't to say our reseller platform isn't robust as well.
