Scott
The backup system described on our website is used for disaster recovery. If you open a support ticket, we can assist you or direct you to where you can access the backups.

Scott
any fees for the restoration process ? The fees are situational and largely depend on the amount of admin labor required. You would need to open a support ticket to get specifics for your account. Edit: I should note that there are not always fees. Especially for simple restores, restores that you can handle yourself, and for clients rarely who request this kind of help. Scott
good .but i still prefer some automatic backup that is available at well. do you offer this service for a fee ? You can generate full backups within cPanel, however the process isn't automated. We did previously offer the R1Soft cPanel add-on which enabled users to restore files from our backup servers on their own. Unfortunately, last I heard, there wasn't a cPanel add-on for the latest version of R1Soft. As mentioned earlier, we do have automatic backups that are updated regularly, and in some cases we can grant you access to easily restore files on your own. Any clues when/if it will become accessible through cPanel at MDDHosting again?
Scott
Any clues when/if it will become accessible through cPanel at MDDHosting again? The cPanel add on is still listed as coming as soon as possible to 3.0. http://www.r1soft.com/linux-cdp/cdp-30-enterprise-edition/new-in-30/Unfortunately, this all they have said for some time. We don't have an ETA for when this will change.
Michael D.
It is possible to restore files yourself just as you did with Version 2.0 an the cPanel icon - there just isn't an icon in the cPanel and you have to have the URL specific to the server you're on to log in. If you need to restore files, open a ticket and we'll be happy to provide you with the appropriate link relevant to your service.
