Blind Bandit
I use different editors depending on what I need/want to do Oh I see. I admit I'm just doing simply edits so notpad++ works for what I need it too. Are you still actively programing?

jackshobs
I use Notepad++, it’s incredibly easy to use, clean interface and cross platform. Also, I think this is why I find it easier to write inside VIM. It is very easy to work without distraction.

fshagan
I have become fond of PSPad from http://www.pspad.com/en/ I really like that it has utilities to search for text strings in a folder on disk, has syntax highlighting, etc.
