Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 Pingdom Full Page TestPingdom offers a tool called the Full Page Tester that can be helpful when you are trying to optimize your web site size and load speed. I have personally used this tool to see what specifically was causing a slow load time for a web site and where I needed to lighten the site to improve overall load speed and performance. Please keep in mind that this tool is not perfect and there are many variables that can affect the overall load speed and time. As an example many sites tested often show a 4~8 seconds load time on the Pingdom full page test when in the real world they load generally in 400~800ms from the initial request to the page being fully loaded on a broadband connection.
