Michael D.
We're going to be upgrading the system kernel on the Cypress and Demeter servers this evening which will require a 5 minute reboot for both. We'll be rebooting them one at a time starting with Cypress at 10:00 and Demeter at 10:10. The total window for this maintenance is from 10:00 to 10:30 however we expect each server to be offline for no more than 5 minutes. If you have any questions, feel free to respond to this thread. Will be interesting to see if it is down long enough to have project wonderful send me an email saying it is down. The reboot should take no longer than 5 minutes assuming there are no unforeseen issues. We've tested this upgrade on our development servers without issues so we don't currently anticipate any. It just takes time for the system to start up however we do have technicians in the KVM interface to speed things up such as the "System will start in 15 seconds... press any key to start now." etc... Michael D.
Cypress has been rebooted and Demeter is rebooting now. We're a tad behind schedule hence the 30 minute window
Michael D.
Both servers have been restarted so we're closing out this maintenance window. Thank you for your patience!
