Nadir Novruzov
why this page shows that you only have 74 domains?? http://www.webhosting.info/webhosts/report.../mddhosting.com
Michael D.
That would be because we use the nameservers "mddservices.com" for our direct clients and another set of private nameservers for our resellers. http://www.webhosting.info/webhosts/report...mddservices.com I would post up a link to the private nameservers but that would sort of defeat the purpose of offering resellers private nameservers to protect their transparency
supernix
Even if it was only 74 he is still doing far better than I am. I still don't have that many but then again I have put almost all my energy towards school and none towards marketing. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable so can't exactly beat them on pricing. Almost makes me wonder how in the world I will ever be the Gator slayer I wish to be. Back when HostGator started there wasn't as much competition and getting into the industry and growing was much easier. It's taken us over 2 years to reach 3700+ hosted domains. supernix
I know I started doing a virtual ISP company back in 1999 as I recall and we sold dialup accounts and dns hosting and web hosting as well we also offered backup dns and email hosting as well. Back then there was hardly any competition and I had never heard of Cpanel it would have been nice if the Dotcom bust had not happened. Now thanks to the advent of Cpanel there are tons of resellers and web hosting companies. Back when I did it you had to know how DNS worked and the various protocols and we test our servers with telnet that was your fancy tool.
