weetu
So, what is a good number for this new speed test? All I know is that my domains are reliable and all pages open without delay. No doubt that I have a good connection to the servers, but these numbers mean little to me. My ISP is cox. Is this good?http://larryharrop.com/speed.gif If you're hosted on MDD, lets see yours for comparison.
Michael D.
9220 is 9.2 Megabit download and 6249 is 6.2 megabit upload - you have a good home connection A T1 Line is 1.5/1.5 by comparison - the servers are on 100/100 Basically if you don't understand the numbers however and everything runs fine for you then it doesn't make much of a difference - it's more of a tool for prospective clients that are interested in the information but I thought it interesting enough to send an email out about. Thanks for the explanation. It is interesting, but I have no customers to impress. I can see how this would be a usefull tool for the resellers or people with a VPS or dedicated. It would be interesting if others would post their speeds and ISPs here.
