Speed test

So, what is a good number for this new speed test? All I know is that my domains are reliable and all pages open without delay. No doubt that I have a good connection to the servers, but these numbers mean little to me.

My ISP is cox.

Is this good?

If you're hosted on MDD, lets see yours for comparison.

9220 is 9.2 Megabit download and 6249 is 6.2 megabit upload - you have a good home connection :)

A T1 Line is 1.5/1.5 by comparison - the servers are on 100/100 :)

Basically if you don't understand the numbers however and everything runs fine for you then it doesn't make much of a difference - it's more of a tool for prospective clients that are interested in the information but I thought it interesting enough to send an email out about.

Thanks for the explanation. It is interesting, but I have no customers to impress. :)

I can see how this would be a usefull tool for the resellers or people with a VPS or dedicated.

It would be interesting if others would post their speeds and ISPs here.
