Michael D.
We performed some optimization on MariaDB 10.6 on our Plaid servers and our busiest one looks to have unlocked quite a bit more throughput. From around 2,500 queries per second up to around an average of 6,500 queries per second. Same load / same clients / etc. Our testing indicates that websites on the Plaid plan are just a little bit faster than they were prior.
Michael D.
The performance remains high. I'm not sure how much of this can be attributed to 10.6 and how much can be attributed to the optimizations we've performed. We do watch our MariaDB servers closely and make small adjustments over time to keep performance up.
