Michael D.
During the MariaDB Upgrade last night from 10.3 to 10.6 the system decided to disable all "nd_mysql" and "nd_mysqli" extensions for all accounts and replaced them with "mysql" and "mysqli". This is a simple configuration change but it is not correct. To be clear this only causes issues for some accounts using very old PHP versions. Regardless the nd_mysql extensions are better for performance so we're going to fix this. While we're not sure why the software decided to do this as it is unexpected behavior - we are running a network-wide repair on these modules. If you are experiencing any issues with your websites don't hesitate to reach out to support. While the network-wide repair should fix nearly everything if not everything - we're happy to give things a more direct look if you need it. Sorry for the trouble on this - this isn't behavior that cropped up in our testing prior to performing these upgrades in production. We are working with our software vendors, CloudLinux and cPanel, on this matter.
Michael D.
Also worth noting this only appears to affect lower version numbers [ i.e. 5.X ] - so the majority of sites are not affected.
Michael D.
This process finished quite some time ago but I forgot to update the thread as such. Sorry about that!
