All Semi-Dedicated accounts are placed on a Intel Xeon Quad Core 2.4GHz server with 4GB of ram with a maximum limit of 25 accounts per server. Normal shared hosting servers can be loaded with as many as 350 or more accounts which generally means that there are just things you cannot do. On our semi-dedicated plans you will be able to use more resources and for longer periods of time without having to worry about being suspended or your site slowing to a crawl.
