adam527
Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but will MDDHosting start offering Let's Encrypt SSL Certificates? Let's Encrypt just came out of beta: https://letsencrypt.org//2016/04/12/leaving-beta-new-sponsors.html There already exists a cPanel plugin: https://letsencrypt-for-cpanel.com/
Scott
It's on our radar. We do have a few other projects before we can look into it, but stay tuned.
Plippers
I requested this in an unrelated support ticket already, but I'd like to chime in here and say I'd love to see LetsEncrypt too! Thanks!

Scott
The Let's Encrypt cPanel plugin should now be running on all shared, reseller, and premium servers. Log in to your cPanel and should be there waiting for you already. If you encounter any issues, please open a support ticket so we can investigate. Dehenderson
There are no doubt merits to SSL or secured server configuration. A friend recently shared this article from the Electronic Frontier Foundation on the rush in government to embrace encrypted hosting -- https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2017/01/victories-encrypting-web-news-and-goverment-sites-switch-https. While I encourage everyone to read the article, let me underscore a major factor ... secured server is only as good as strong passwords. To this day, weak passwords continue to be the weak link to online security. I am part of the Cyber Attack and Internet of Things Task Force in Washington, and what I've heard over and over by the pioneers and leaders in the digital world is that security is all about strong passwords. Encryption and secured servers mean nothing without strong passwords.
