fjpoblam
I want to write a very specific privacy policy for my site visitors. I do not have any js or other code which stores cookies. Wordpress might, though my blog isn't set up for accounts or comments (just forward-backward navigation and search by topic). I don't know how MDD servers go about logging visits, nor what automated control I may have on how long they're retained. It could be considered a courtesy to mention it to tinfoil hat visitors. Is there a way to find out, and control, what MDDhosting servers are "doing for" me insofar as logging is concerned?
ericr
It is a default of 24 hours. It is only held longer if you request it under cPanel > raw Access Logs. You can also turn of awstats which is by default on by removing all the check-marks under cPanel > Choose Log Programs.
