Michael D.
We have moved our newer servers, SD1 and SR1, to MySQL 5.6.X and set the default version of PHP on these servers to 5.4.X. We will be moving all servers to MySQL 5.6.X and the default version of PHP to 5.4.X within the next 60 days and will email all clients. Understand PHP 5.3 and 5.2 will stil be available via the PHP Version Selector inside of your cPanel regardless of the default setting on the server. If you have chosen a version other than 'native' which is currently 5.3 you will not see any changes. If you are using 'native' your version will change to 5.4. If you have any questions about this - do please respond to this thread. If your question is specific to your account do please email maintenance [at] mddhosting.com from the email address we have on file for you and we'll be happy to address any questions you may have. Michael D.
Worth noting - we're working on a way to move anybody from 'native' on a 5.3 server to the actual '5.3' selection so this upgrade will have no discernible impact from the standpoint that nobody's version will change unexpectedly.
