  1. I'm on the Basic Reseller plan. How can I accurately monitor my disk space and bandwidth usage? Since overselling is not allowed, how do I monitor that, as well?
  2. An answer was posted at WebHostingTalk a few minutes ago.
  3. According to the Server Status page, Echo is up, even though CPU usage is at 0%. http://i465.photobucket.com/albums/rr20/patlaw_photos/server_status.jpg The Pingdom status page shows that Echo has been down for over 3 hours. http://i465.photobucket.com/albums/rr20/patlaw_photos/pingdom.jpg Does anyone have any information?
  4. As of 6:45PM yesterday... Therefore, the prediction as of yesterday is that we will be back in service tonight or tomorrow night.
  5. Read this thread starting at the beginning. Everything is explained in detail. Everything is explained above. As mentioned in the thread above, if you have your backups, MDD will install them on another server and configure the DNS. If you don't have backups, you will have to wait for the restore at MDD to finish.
  6. Please start including an ETA, if possible. One of my hosting clients is an attorney who is totally non-technical. It takes an hour to walk her through setup changes in her email client. I'd rather not have to go through the process of moving her to a new server. She has to use the echo IP address because of problems she was having with her ISP.
  7. With Gmail accounts being free and easily accessible by POP and IMAP, it makes sense to have a spare email account for such purposes. Create an account, configure it for POP access on your main email client, and use it as the contact email for your server contact. That's what I do with pobox.com, which is an email aliasing services. When my echo POP box died, I pointed pobox and my email client to a different POP box, so at least that account is operating normally.
  8. What is the attraction to a DOS attack? What is the scumbag hoping to accomplish?
