03/28/2009 - R1Soft Off-Site Incremental Backups Come to Semi-Dedicated! R1Soft will be enabled on Semi-Dedicated servers March 30, 2009.

As promised we are rolling out R1Soft Continuous Data Protection services on our Semi-Dedicated services. We expect to begin seeding the semi-dedicated servers at around 1 AM GMT-5 Monday, March 30, 2009. You may notice a slightly increased load during this time period but as we move away from cPanel backups you should notice much lower load during the off-peak hours which will allow you to use more system resources during these times as needed.

Seeding will actually begin around 9:30pm GMT-5 tonight on the Zeus server and we expect it to take no longer than one to two hours. You will notice an increased load but the server will continue to function as normal.

Our Semi-Dedicated servers have been running R1Soft backups beautifully for some time now.
