Dehenderson
Using the online site - www.Who-Hosts.com - I see many customized hosting locations. For example, xyzcompany.com might be seen as hosting by xyzcompany ... rather than showing the default hosting. How can that be achieved with MDDHosting's reseller plan? A more specific example - my site, DavidHenderson.com, shows it is hosted by SupportedDNS.com, a default provided by MDDHosting. How would I show it hosted by DavidHenderson.com? Thanks, David
Dehenderson
What an idiot I am! My question should be, how can I create custom name servers?
Scott
Hello David, Good question. We have information and instructions to set up private nameservers in our KB: http://www.mddhosting.com/support/knowledgebase/39/What-are-private-nameservers-and-how-do-I-set-them-up.html This still has you making use of our DNS cluster, but allows you to give your clients ns1, ns2, ns3.MyDomain.com. To go further than this, you would need a VPS server where you are running your own DNS servers that are completely seperate from ours.
