Michael D. Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Hello, We experienced an issue with our credit card gateway when processing credit card charges on October 1st. This issue resulted in some customers seeing a double charge while others experienced one successful charge and an authorization. All customers who were actually double charged have been refunded the extra charge manually. At this time, nobody has been overcharged as all overcharges have been refunded. Any customers who experienced one successful charge and an authorization will see that authorization drop off automatically. It can be as quick as a few minutes or as long as a few days and depends entirely upon the financial institution. In the event that you feel you may be affected, please do call your financial institution and they should be able to affirm for you that the authorization will drop or that the second charge has already been refunded. We do apologize for this issue and have put steps in place to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. In our previous version of our billing system it checked for this and failed extra charges automatically, however, our newer version seems to be missing this check which we've manually made adjustments to ensure this doesn't reoccur.
