I'm just wondering what text editor do you recommenced?

I've been looking for a free text editor try a few things out. And note pad isn't enough.

Sorry about the double post but here is text editor I've found and it seems to get the job done.

I use different editors depending on what I need/want to do :)

Oh I see. I admit I'm just doing simply edits so notpad++ works for what I need it too.

Are you still actively programing?

Are you still actively programing?

Yes, I do a variety of things from .NET on windows and mobile devices, Native C++ on mobile devices, Java for multi-platform applications, as well as PHP/MySQL and asp/asp.net. I'm also working on developing applications for the iPhone/iPod Touch :)

For me I use phpdesinger when I am on windows and either gedit or quanta when I am on linux.

I've used EditPlus if I'm not mistaken - it's pretty nice.

I use Notepad++, it’s incredibly easy to use, clean interface and cross platform. Also, I think this is why I find it easier to write inside VIM. It is very easy to work without distraction.

I have become fond of PSPad from http://www.pspad.com/en/

I really like that it has utilities to search for text strings in a folder on disk, has syntax highlighting, etc.
