Please review my website http://www.downrivertoday.com is a review website for downriver Michigan. I give short and to the point reviews so I don't bore people to death. I am using free skins because I can't afford some one to design me some.
Do you guys think the skins fit the website and forum? Thanks in advance!

Nice basic layout and design - definitely a very good for free.
Nitpicks:
Personally, I like a white background on these kind of sites because I think it is a more positive and inviting color. Black tends to be better on counterculture kind of sites - warez, video games, and whatnot.
Also, I wouldn't have your forum link pop open to a new window. And try to integrate the forum design within the overall design. Otherwise you can't navigate back. I wasn't sure if you were aware of this or not - I know that getting the forum design tucked into the overall design can sometimes be a pain.
The drop-down menu on the "City Information" menu comes down very far. You could lower the padding on the menu so that the items are spaced closer together.
The welcome text on the upper right should be on the upper left. The eyes naturally tend to start off in the upper left of a web so a new visitor will see this first.
The menu on the right says "Main Menu" is misleading because it isn't a main menu. It looks like a better label might be "categories" or something. I also think that should maybe be on the left.
You may want to hook up Google Analytics just so you can see what kind of SEO results you are getting.

The site looks very nice!
Stocktrader's given some great suggestions. I have just one to add, and it concerns your page names. I like using the post names alone for the permalinks on a site that is configured more like a CMS than a traditional blog, i.e. "http://www.downrivertoday.com/about" instead of "http://www.downrivertoday.com/?page_id=2".
It's an easy change if you want to do it. In wp-admin, Settings, Permalinks, choose "Custom Structure" and then put /%postname%/ in the box.
This isn't good if you plan to have a lot of posts with similar names, but looks better for sites with a lot of static pages.

That's one of the nicest WP/MyBB integrations I've seen in a while. Nice work!
Good News: I just saved a bunch of money on my hosting by switching to MDD!

It looks like they gave up on their site, all of their domains are parked now.

The "downriver Michigan" niche was never a particularly easy one to monetize.
