We are going to be rebooting the Cypress server at 10PM (GMT-5 / EST) this evening to boot into a newer version of CloudLinux that allows users access to more than a single core. The reboot process should take no longer than 3 to 7 minutes.
In our semi-dedicated offerings we've always allowed more CPU and Memory usage than we do on our regular shared and reseller accounts simply due to the low account populations. Currently all of our shared / reseller / semi-dedicated services allow a single account to use no more than a single CPU so this is going to be a large upgrade for all semi-dedicated customers.
If you have any questions / comments / concerns by all means feel free to respond to this thread or to open a support ticket. I'm going to send out a mass mail to all customers as well about this change.
