Could you also post the new Nameserver IP's for Demeter here as well please as I use personal nameservers on it:-)

Many thanks,
Michael

I just want to say good job and thank you. Even though I was working on my site, somehow it got transferred to the new datacenter without any loss of data (or at least I haven't noticed anything missing). I think it happened when I was at lunch or something...

We're pretty good at transfers - we did have some issues with a specific reseller where cPanel didn't properly assign dedicated IPs but we've identified the cause of that issue and reported it to cPanel accordingly so they can patch it.

I'm on Fresco and it looks like everything went smooth! Good job. The only issue (and minor to me) is I noticed when I sign in to my webmail, I get a warning about the site's security certificate. If I continue on (thumbing my nose at Microsoft's warning, haha), all works fine.

The problem seems to stem from the URL being slightly different. It used to go to "https://fresco.supportedns.com:2096/". Now it goes to "https://mydomain.com:2096/", and I know I don't have a certificate for my site.

I've always gone to webmail by going to "www.mydomain.com/webmail". Should I be taking a different route to get there?

No, that's expected as we haven't yet fully re-routed the ssl. The error will disappear late tonight or early tomorrow.

I figured you guys were aware, but thought I'd mention it as the only problem I have seen (and minor at that) and to make sure there wasn't something I needed to change on my end (i.e. the "go to" URL).

Again, great job!

(I also want to add that certain pages with more images on my site load noticeably faster. Sweet!)

I just had to re-sync my forum database (being as I use external DNS) but everything is fine - no complaints.

It's great that MDD will be able to increase their profitability by owning their own HW - this in turn allows better value for customers - so it's all good.

Also I noticed a big jump in accounts recently Mike, congrats on that too :)

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure that the domain count displayed on the front page is accurate as of right this moment. We still need to go through and make sure it's connecting to the new servers and not the old, etc :)

I got an email from MDD early this morning that if my name servers are something other than "ns1.mddservices.com and ns2.mddservices.com" then I need to update them.

I double-checked mine and they are actually set to ns10.mddservices.com and ns9.mddservices.com. Is this okay too or do I need to change them to ns1 and ns2?

ns9 and ns10 will still work but we do suggest updating to the ns1 and ns2 variants just so that your DNS Records and your DNS Zone match :)

The old hardware has been shut down as per the final notice that was emailed to all active clients. We will have the hardware for approximately 3 more days just in case.

We're looking at bringing the new VPS hardware online a bit earlier than expected, around the 10th or 12th if everything goes well. If we start migrations early we'll definitely send out an email to those being moved letting you know. We'll have some flexibility in the transfer schedule for VPSs.
