Our servers are monitored externally by Pingdom on a 1 minute check interval which means that if any server becomes inaccessible for more than just a couple of seconds it will generally be recorded.

Keep in mind that there are many instances that would cause Pingdom to report a false-positive (downtime when there is none) such as when we are rebuilding Apache or PHP. During these times the checkers may report up to 5 minutes of downtime where there was no actual downtime at all.

We do monitor our servers internally as well as externally to keep them operating at their best.

Edit: 08/27/2009 - We have changed our Pingdom check methods for all servers and as such the history for the old checks were removed before this point. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
