Scott
We've identified a DDoS attack against the r1 server and are working to mitigate it now. We expect connectivity to continue going up and down while we work to mitigate the attack and identify the target. For anyone unfamiliar with what a DDoS attack is, you may wish to review:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack for more information. Scott
For the moment, all sites should be up and functioning normally. If you have any sites offline, please open a support ticket. We still believe the DDoS attack may evolve and we have not yet been able to isolate the site or account being targeted. We will continue to monitor for any issues. ericr
The DDOS Target IP has been nullrouted and the IP addresses split among 2 IP's. I advise logging into your WHM interface to see if a sites IP is changed. The DDOS'd IP is 173.248.188.192 The accounts have been split to either 162.244.253.20 or 162.244.253.58 .If you use external DNS servers and 173.248.188.192 was your IP you will need to update your IP. Scott
The fact that the attack hasn't returned or evolved in any way is a good sign that there may be nothing further to it. We will continue to monitor for problems.
