Posted March 29, 2016 Report Share Posted March 29, 2016 Another client in the same facility as us was the target of an approximately 29GBPS DDoS attack [ 29,000 megabit ] which was large enough to disrupt the network as a whole. With about 50% packet loss during the attack everything was basically unreachable until the attack was blocked. The facility put a null route in place and service returned to normal very quickly.
