fjpoblam
I know, to avoid having email left on the MDD server, it is best to set up a forwarder for an address, and not an account. Thus I might set up a forwarder to ship off all email for a certain address to Gmail. Thereby, I would enjoy the benefit of Gmail's handy spam filtering for that address. Okay. Inasmuch as the address is not an account, it has no logon: no password access to an SMTP server at MDD for the purpose of Gmail's "send as" setup. So is there any way to accomplish this? Or will I have to set up an actual account, forward it, and come back to MDD periodically to empty the copies of forwarded mail?
jaishree
If you wish to forward all incoming mail from one account to another but do not want to receive email at the first account, create a forwarder from an address that does not have a cPanel account. If the account already exists, delete it in cPanel.
